West Norwood Feast

With two new gastro pubs, a leisure centre, plans for a Picturehouse Cinema and the monthly Feast street festival, West Norwood is fast becoming more than just a (slightly) cheaper alternative to neighbouring Herne Hill for commuters to rest their weary heads.

The Feast street festival in particular, is held on the 1st Sunday of each month and is becoming ever increasingly popular. Now in its second year it has grown in stature and size. From clothing to cheese, popcorn to pot plants this Artisan market has something (one stall at least!) for everyone. Prices are reasonable and the stallholders are always up for a chat about their wares.

Spread across the high street and across the front lawn of the always impressive, yet rarely revered St Luke’s Church, there is no need to do your research or grab a map, just get off at West Norwood station and wander down the hill. With summer on the cusp of rearing its sunny head its only going to get bigger; better and busier so we recommend you take a look.

The next Feast is Sunday 5th July.
