Telegraph Success Lecture: Rory Sutherland

Sutherland’s talk at Telegraph HQ focussed on how to successfully solve businesses’ problems: fighting the tyranny of ‘spreadsheet thinking’, thinking like a biologist, and telling us why the conscious mind thinks it’s the Oval office, when it is actually the Press office.

He believes markets and businesses are not ‘mechanical’ but ‘biological’ organisms that need only small but potent stimuli to solve their problems, rather than pointing at changes on a balance sheet.

The usual entertaining and inspiring stuff from the inimitable Sutherland.
